Description & Distribution 
Hyssop is a dense bushy plant. All parts of this plant are aromatic. The top of the stem contains most of the flavor contents and essential oil.

It grows in the coldest regions yet requires a sunny weather and well drained soil conditions. In India Hyssop is cultivated on the Baramulla hills of Kashmir valley.

Harvesting Season : July to September 
Marketing Season : September to November



Uses
The flowers and leaves are used in soups and stews. The leaves of this plant are used for stuffing.
